Word Play Cafe is the space at Burning Man (and beyond) dedicated entirely to word games for people to gather, play and learn together.

Burners enjoy solving our custom Burning Man themed crossword puzzle, getting their daily Wordle fix with our analog version, playing a host of custom and popular word games, and attending our special events. We even magically offer a very well known daily crossword puzzle!

We’re looking for folks to help us staff the dome during Burning Man. We are a friendly, inclusive group and welcome all burners interested in helping make Word Play Cafe a fun and engaging space. We have roles for all word game skill levels!
